SHIKISAISHA is a contemporary art gallery established in 1996 in Kyobashi, Tokyo. Drawing on our experience in art publishing, we select and present works by distinctive artists across a wide range of genres, guided by a unique curatorial perspective. We organize approximately ten solo and curated exhibitions annually and actively participate in both domestic and international art fairs, creating opportunities to grow alongside the artists we represent. In addition, we launched TOKYO CONTEMPORARY KYOBASHI, a project rooted in Kyobashi that explores new possibilities in contemporary art. Through exhibitions and events held in the area, the project aims to foster deeper connections between art and the local community. In recent years, we have also been dedicated to making art more accessible to a broader audience beyond art collectors. In 2024, we began curating exhibitions in a commercial space in Ōmiya, Saitama, and in May 2025, we will launch a new exhibition initiative in Shibuya. SHIKISAISHA remains committed to sharing the richness of contemporary art through new and evolving initiatives that reach a wide and diverse public.
